Before I get into who I AM, let’s get who I’m NOT straight. Simply because I’ll use the alias of Homer Simpson in this website, I am not in anyway connected to FOX or the Simpsons. This is not just a gag site about what Homer Simpson would think of the world today. This website is about what I think of the world today. I only decided on the name of Homer Simpson because I love the Simpsons and Homer Simpson is better and more real than 99% of the shit Hollywood comes out with today.
My beliefs are NOT based strictly along party lines. I’m a Republican and believe that most of America’s problems (and the rest of the world’s for that matter) are because of the out of control spread of liberalism. But if I should dis-agree with the Republican Party line about a certain issue, I’ll say so. What I say on this website are MY honest beliefs. I’m in no way, shape or form trying to manipulate information so as fit with my beliefs or the Republican Party line.
Having said that let me get to some of the things I do believe and who I actually am. First off, I do believe that the liberalism that arose from the ’60s is a complete and total sham. Liberalism today is nothing more than how socialists and other anti-Americans hide and protect their real purpose. Be it socialists and other communists (with no place to go after the fall of the Soviet Union) hiding their anti-business & anti-capitalist beliefs behind the environmental movement.
Racists, perverts, and other anti-Americans are hiding behind the civil rights movements. I’m sure Martin Luther King and Malcolm X are turning over in their graves watching their names and work being taken advantage of by the homosexual movement. For that matter, I’m sure the founders of several movements would be upset about the way their names and work are used today to shield the communist and other anti-American movements. The way the terms racist and sexist are thrown around today simply so people can make a buck suing some one.
It’s also my belief that the growing laziness of the American worker and the continuously rising number of lawyers in America are contributing greatly to the problems in this country. Businesses have to be overly cautious today for fear that they may be sued for not having enough toilet paper in the restrooms or some guy with heart problems claiming he got it because his work didn’t have de-caf coffee in the lounge. Then you’ve got the person who gets fired, calls the lawyer saying it was over some kind of “-ism” (I.e. racism, sexism, or whatever), and sues their former employer for millions. The you’ve got the woman who sues her employer for sexual harassment because some guy she didn’t like made a pass at her. Employers today have become so cautious that some figure it’s safer not to hire anyone in the first place.
It’s also my belief that that the Islamic movement (both in America and around the world) has become the greatest threat this country has ever faced. The radical belief of a number of Muslims (including entire nations) around the world and their ability to hide behind claims of bigotry in America has made them an even bigger threat than the Nazis or the Russians ever were.
Then you factor in the advanced weaponry available to terrorist groups today from nations like China and North Korea (who got their nuclear weapons from Bill Clinton, the man liberals today hail as the greatest president ever). Finally, when you consider the fanaticism of the people who follow most Muslim groups, you see why they pose the incredible danger to America that they do.
Terrorist, lawyers, and lawsuit happy people are hardly the only problems facing the United States today. Our government is also a primary threat to our way of life today. When the average politician mentions an economic plan, it’s either the Republican plans (with lower taxes) or the Democrat plan (with higher taxes). Of course they all mention cutting government spending. That is a complete and total lie. To most politicians today, cutting government spending actually means lowering the rate of increase of spending (I.e. Instead of increasing spending by 10%, they only increase it by 7%). A major (if not the primary) reason for this is because of how politicians win elections today. The more federal money a politician can get Uncle Sam to spend In his or her state or district, the more he or she can say come re-election time. That is, unless of course you’re talking about liberals (who’s hate for the military is obvious) slashing military spending.
So until Washington changes it’s ways in regards to spending, it’s either the Democrat plan where we give them more of our money to spend or the Republican plan were we give less of OUR money to spend (hopefully forcing them to change their plans). Of course, if a business tried to work like the government, they’d be out of business inside of a year.
The biggest problem of all with politicians today is the fact that far too many are more interested in playing politics than actually making sure the best thing is done for America. The Democrats have held many of George W. Bush's nominations to the appellate courts up for years because they (the nominated judge) would have been approved. Then of course, you have the nominations of Clarence Thomas and Robert Bork. In both cases, the Democrats couldn’t find legitimate reasons to defeat them, so they (the Democrats) resorted to character assassination. While Thomas was confirmed, the Democrats were successful in their attempt to defeat Bork.
While there are considerably more problems (and much more to be said about those mentioned) facing America today, I feel that previously mentioned are the most critical. While the liberals are most to blame, the other side of this isle is hardly blame less. Even though I haven’t gone too far in depth about myself personally, I certainly hope the previous sentence gives you some idea about who Homer Simpson really is.
